zTips Newsletter for Business Partners

June 2009

Note from Steve Early - Business Unit Executive, System z software Channel Sales

We're just past the mid-point of the quarter and momentum is being built in many parts of the world.  Opportunities which slipped from the first quarter of the year are being closed, and new pipeline is being built.  Each of us play a key role in establishing the value of the mainframe within our customer shops and the market as a whole.  With the mainframe recently celebrating its 45th anniversary, the value proposition has never been more relevant; investment protection, lowest total cost of ownership and qualities of service which help our customers meet their most-pressing business needs.

Keep up the great work, and be sure to take advantage of the support offerings IBM has in place to assist  your sales efforts.

Steve
